今朝は「台風一過」の青空。用足しのあと家に帰りたがるタイガを説得しながら四中横の草地に着いたら、初めて見る子がちょうど到着したところでした。自転車カゴから降りてすぐ、タイガに向かって近づいてきました。
Once the typhoon was gone during last night, it was all blue sky this morning. When we arrived at the park, we saw a new face - Mugi, 4-year old female, looking a bit like a Corgi but mostly like a Shiba Inu.
She was all so excited to see Taiga and started running about.
ワンコ同士の挨拶をさせるために、飼い主さんにつかまりました。タイガは飼い主さんの匂とり。
Mugi's dad got hold of her so that Mugi and Taiga could greet each other properly.
初めてのワンコにも人にも物怖じしない子です。名前はムギちゃん、女の子で４歳だそうです。
Mugi has no fear of strangers, either human or dog.
耳がコーギっぽいです。よく見ると、目もコーギの目。飼い主さんいわく、脚も短めだそうです。
Her ears look like those of a Corgi, and even her eyes are Corgi-like.
自分のことが話題になっているのが分かるのか、嬉しそうに尻尾を振っていました。
Mugi looking smug - she probably knows that we are talking about her.
タイガがムギちゃんの両親に撫でられているあいだ、タイガのオシリに近づいてきました。
Mugi sees the chance to take a sniff at Taiga as Taiga is occupied with Mugi's parents.
これで懲りた？
遠慮なく臭いかぎ。
No holding back.
Smelly? Learnt a lesson?
タイガは首を差し出して撫でてもらっています。
Taiga too happy to care about Mugi's activity.
元々タイガがベンチ（＝オヤツ）目的で私を誘導してきたスポットなので、帰る前にオヤツを出したら、二人ともものすごい集中力。
The moment I took out a treat, such concentration.
オヤツを持った手を少し左に動かすと、目で追ってきます。
As I moved my hand slightly to the left, their eyes were locked onto the treat.
帰宅して、庭のヒガンバナ。ピンクのヒガンバナは未だ花茎が上がってきていないので、今年は咲かないようです。去年あれだけ咲いたので、果樹で言えば「裏年」？
