数か月前から、朝・夕の散歩はタイガの行きたい方角へ付き合っていますが、 今日も朝散歩は城北公園へ行きました。四中横の草地。とても清々しい空気で初夏のようでした。
Another early-summer like morning, with the strong sun and cool breeze.
道を渡って向こうの草地へ行こうとしたら、初めて見るジャックラッセルの子が来ました。名前はジアちゃん、生後7か月の女の子。ラフコートの子です。
A new face: 7-month old, female Jack Russell Terrier, named Gia.
Gia wants to play with Taiga, but she is not interested in puppies.
道を渡るときも、さっさと一人で草地に入って行きました。
Taiga crossed the road and entered another field, ignoring Gia.
すっかりソメイヨシノが散って葉桜へ移行中です。
ジアちゃん、何か狙っている？
Gia's mind is fixed on something?
ウーン、とママを引っ張って私に近づいてきます。
She pulls her mom with all her strength.
私の脚に到着。
She grabs hold of my leg,
一生懸命伸びをしてぶら下がってきました。
and starts climbing.
私たちが楽しく騒いでいる間もタイガだけはシラーッとした様子です。
While we were having fun, Taiga was isolating herself mentally.
ごめんね、タイガは愛想無くて。
Can't be helped - after all, she will be 8 years old next month and Gia is too young for her.
その後、茂呂山公園へ向いました。
After that, we went to Moroyama Park.
急な坂道をタイガがグイグイ引っ張って行きます。
It is a steep climb.
Taiga pulls me like a sled dog.
やっと頂上に到着。
At last, top of the hill.
モミジの新葉が展開中です。
The maple trees with new leaves in red and green.
赤葉と緑葉のコントラストが綺麗です。
The contrast is beautiful.
八重桜も散り始めています。
The double-petal cherry blossoms are coming to the end of the season.
公園からの帰り道、ストローベリーセージの見事な株が歩道にせり出していました。セージはすかした感じのほうが地中海風で好きですが、ここまでどっさり茂っていると感心せずにはいられませんでした。
