プラム「グリーンゲイジ」 Greengage plums

 数年前にグリーンゲイジとミラベルを導入したときは大いに期待していましたが、うちでは美味しい実がなりません。よって、今年を最後に完全撤退することにしました。

The last of Greengage plums - I am getting rid of this variety after this season.  Perhaps due to the difference in climate (Japan's climate being too hot and humid v.s. the climate in France), I have never had good fruits from this variety.

離核なのは嬉しいけど、果肉のテクスチャーはガジガジ、果汁は少なく味は特に旨いものとは感じられません。

The flesh is stringy with little juice, and the taste is not remarkable.
