公園で At the park

今日は久しぶりに涼しい朝でした。それでもタイガはいつものように２階でグズグズしていたので、とうとう怒鳴られてやっと階段の上から顔をのぞかせました。

Beautiful cool morning, but Taiga is too lazy to come down.

 「しゃーないなー」と言わんばかりの態度。

Having been yelled at, she starts descending the stairs,

 おもむろに一段、一段降りてきます。

but never fast enough.

「おまたせ！」

'Thanks for waiting, mom!'

公園に着くと入口の草地でカンタと会えました。

We saw Kanta when we arrived at the park.

今朝はガツンなしの穏やかな挨拶。

Very mild greeting.

それが、上のほうの窪地に着いたとたん、ガウガウのワンプロが始まりました。

However, the moment we reached another field, they started doggy wrestling.

お互い負けじとガウガウ。

まるで２匹のハイエナの戦い。

They look like a couple of hyenas.

満足した？

Had enogh?

ひだまり広場に移動すると、最近会った小雪ちゃん（右）と、初めてみるビーグル（奥）がいました。

We moved to another field where we met new faces.

小雪ちゃんは５歳で、たぶんコーギのミックス。ビーグルは９月で４歳になるチップちゃん、女の子だそうです。

The white one is Koyuki, 5-year old female Corgi mix, and

Chip, female Beagle, soon to be 4 years old.

チップが突然タイガに吠え始めましたが、ワンプロ以外の争いが嫌いなタイガは無視。

Chip starts barking at Taiga, but Taiga ignores her.

チップが飼い主さんに怒られる一方、タイガは小雪ちゃんママに褒められました。

Chip's mom tells her off, whilst Taiga gets a pat from Koyuki's mom.

みんな並んで写真を撮ろうということになりましたが、

We wanted to take a picture with all the dogs sitting in a row.

 ワンコたちは好き勝手にウロウロ。

But they were not very obliging.....

最後に小雪ちゃんのスマイル。カンタは私の真ん前に陣取るとオヤツをもらえると思っているので、写真に協力してくれているわけではありません。

At least, Koyuki gave me a bright smile.
