The area I live in is very hilly. With the Shakujii River at the bottom, we have undulating terrain on both sides. We crossed the river this morning to walk an area little known to me. I recently met an old couple during our walk, who told me that they were thinking of selling their house and buying a unit in a condominium in this area. So, I was curious to actually seeing the site. I found it at the top of a steep hill and the area was very pleasant and quiet. It seems a very large development with many units.
The side facing the street is vast enough, but the units behind these are spread out on the side of a hill that faces the south. There is an elementary school not far from here. In front of the condo, across the street, is a park.
"No dogs", it says.
I saw a lot of tiles with illustrations, buried in many places.
It seems that ancient ruins were found here in the past, and little children participated in the investigation. The relics were buried again, so that people might enjoy the same experience in some future time. The children's illustrations of the tiles depict supposed ancient people and articles they used.

After arriving home, Taiga took up her position in front of the porch. During cooler months when there is no mosquito, Taiga loves sitting in this spot. She watches people go by. Some of them are her fans and they call her name at the gate. She rushes to them to be stroked. She loves getting adulation from her fans.
