スモモのサマーエンジェルが色づいています。ここまで赤くなると野鳥の害が出て来ました。去年は数個しか生らなかったせいか、野鳥には気づかれずに樹上完熟してとても美味しかったです。今年は果肉が固いうちの収穫で追熟させるので、去年ほど美味しく感じられません。
Plum: 'Summer Angel' They are red but not fully ripe. Birds have been testing several of them, so I took some of them in.
This is the second year of fruiting and not as delicious as those sold in the shop. It is said that only after 3 years' harvesting, you can expect to see the real potential.
