公園からの帰りしな、四中横の草地を通りました。
In the field on our way home
A little girl was doing her best to fly a kite. 'Kite' in Japanese is 'tako(凧)' which is pronounced in the same way for an octopus(鮹), and this kite is actually octopus shaped.
The little girl was making a valiant effort but there was no breeze. So I knelt down in order to make the kite look as if flying high.
ここまで上がると、タコらしく見えます。This is the face of the octopus kite. (I got permission from the girl's father to take photos and use them in my blog.)
