大掃除がなかなか進みません。気分転換の散歩で「柿の木広場」へ行って来たあと、帰り道「子供の森公園」まで来たら、後ろからサスケがやって来ました。飼い主さんによると、「柿の木」から出てきたタイガを遠くから見つけてずっと追いかけてきたそうです。ということは、かなりの距離をついてきたことになります。カワイイ!とは言っても図体は大きくて、今44kgあるそうです。
I am in the middle of the customary yearend cleaning which I hate. To take a break, we went out for a walk in the Persimmon Park. On our way home, when we were in front of the children's park, Sasuke caught up with us. According to his owner, Sasuke saw us coming out of the Persimmon Park from a distance and kept pulling him to catch up with us - such a long way. How sweet! He is a gentle giant, currently weighing 44kg.
元は保護されたミックス犬で、生後4ヵ月のときに初めて会ったときは遠目にシェパードっぽく見えましたが、今は巨大な黒柴に見えます。この大きさにも拘わらず本当は超ビビリなのですが、見た目で判断されてしまうのか誰も近寄らないので、タイガが唯一の友達だそうです。
Sasuke is a rescued mixed dog. When he was 4 months old and came to the current owner, he looked like a German Shepherd puppy, viewed from a distance. Now, he looks like a huge black Shiba Inu. In spite of his size, he is an extremely timid dog. However, other dogs and owners judge him by his appearance, and Taiga is the only friend he has.

私はサプリを摂るよりは自然食材で健康を保つほうなので、最近またブルーポピーシードを買ってきました。個人的にはあの風味は好みではないけど、効能を書き連ねたリストをネットで見ると、つい影響を受けてしまいます。あまり利用方法が豊富な食材とは思えないですが、手っ取り早いところでパン生地に混ぜ込みました。小麦粉400gに対してポピーシード20gです。今は寒い季節なので、材料の混ぜ合わせから最終的に焼きあがるまで約24時間かかります。生地は練らずに、引っ張って捏ねる方法なので、ボウルひとつで済みます。下の写真は成形が済んで、これから最終発酵に入るところ。寒い季節は最終発酵だけオーブンを使い、35度で一時間半かかります。
Rather than take supplements, I prefer to rely on natural foodstuff, in order to maintain my health. In this regard, I am refocusing on blue poppy seeds. Personally, their taste and flavour are not my favourite, but the list of health benefits I see on the internet cannot be ignored. Today, I added some seeds in the bread dough: for 400g of wheat, 20g of poppy seeds. In this cold weather, and due to the 'no-knead' method of preparing the dough, it takes about 24 hours from start to finish.
The photos below show the bread dough having been shaped, and ready for final proofing. Since it is cold, I rely on the oven for final proofing - 1 1/2 hours at 35℃.
ご近所から、一房のムベの実をいただきました。タイガの散歩でよく通る道にある家で、広い敷地と駐車場があり、ムベを数メートルにわたって塀に絡ませてあります。これまで一度も味わったことのないムベの実なので、興味津々。
A neighbour of mine stopped me and gave me a bunch of Mube (Stauntonia hexaphylla) fruits when I passed his house this afternoon. His garden and car park are spacious enough to grow the Mube vine, stretching over several meters of fence. Mube looks similar to Akebi on the outside, but the skin does not open like Akebi, when the fruit is fully ripe. Moreover, the flesh of Akebi is almost non-existent and there is hardly any taste to it, whereas Mube has more flesh, and the jelly-like flesh is said to be very sweet.
