公園手前のコンビニ前で、昨夜の散歩中に初めて会ったボーダーに会えました。飼い主さんがお店で買い物中に外で子供達二人がワンコと一緒に待っていました。
ボーダーには珍しい白いコートです。背中はクリーム色がかっていますが、昨夜、街灯の明かりの中で見たときは真っ白だったので、遠目にはハスキーかマラミュートかと思いました。とても元気で人懐こい子で、名前はロイ君、3歳半だそうです。
On my way to the park, I saw the Border Collie that I met last night in the park. His name is Roy, aged 3 1/2 years old. He was waiting for his dad with his human brother and sister, while his dad was getting something in the shop. Roy is almost all white, though his back is a little off white, so when I saw him in the semi darkness last night, I took him for a Husky or Alaskan Malamute.
His dad came out of the shop and Roy got all excited and couldn't be bothered to pose for my camera.
四中横の草地に着くと、久しぶりにミニ柴のクマジロウ君がいました。
何とか少し落ち着いたところでクロースアップを１枚撮れました。
He somehow calmed down in time, and I managed to get a closeup.
When we arrived at the Johoku Park, we saw Kumajirou, a male miniature Shiba Inu.
タイガの8歳半よりも年上で、最近は自分の体力の変化に気づき始めたのか、タイガが以前のように真正面から近づいたら、自己防衛の「ウゥッ」。タイガは直ぐに引きました。
Kumajirou is older than Taiga and, perhaps due to his weakening condition, he growled at Taiga momentarily when she approached him directly.
顔がころんころんの可愛い子です。
He is so tiny and moves like a doll.
カリー君は子犬の頃は細かったのが、今では立派な体格です。
さらに行くと、柴犬のカリー君が来ました。
As we went along further, we met Curry, a young Shiba Inu boy.
He used to be so thin but now he is a strong looking young Shiba Inu.
身のこなしも自信にあふれています。
His demeanour has even changed and he is no longer timid.
その後は茂呂山公園へ。すっかり桜の葉が落ちています。
We then went to Moroyama Park to see if the Japanese maple trees have turned into autumn colours.
モミジの紅葉はまだこれから。
Not at all looking like autumn - cannot believe it is mid-November.
赤葉の品種は夏の色から少し色づいてきた程度。とても11月中旬とは思えません。
Even the red-leaf variety is still in summer colour.
茂呂山公園を降りて帰ろうとしたら、向いの柿の木広場の入り口で日本スピッツのアンジーちゃんがいるのを見かけました。
As we came down from the Moroyama Park, we saw Angie, a female Japanese Spitz in the Persimmon Park across the road.
陽ざしが強くて、アンジーの真っ白いコートがキラキラ光っています。
The sun was very bright and Angie's coat was sparkling.
アンジーはオッドアイで、ハスキーのようです。
She is odd-eyed, with an intense look in her left eye.
