一日５回の散歩のうち、正午前に地元でオシッコ散歩をしたときの写真。うちから坂を下りて右に曲がろうとしたら、タイガがさかんに左方向を気にしていたのでついて行ったら、近所のマーク君のママが庭木を見て回っているところでした。姿は見えなくても気配で分かるのは、さすがに犬です。門のところへ回って声を掛けたら、出てきてくださいました。
One of 5 daily walks - a short walk just before noon. Taiga started to pull the leash towards the opposite direction when I meant to turn right. I followed her and found that she had detected that my neighbour was in her garden. Taiga probably hoped to see Mark, a male Jack Russell Terrier. He was Taiga's first friend when she started to walk outside.

二階にいるマー君を呼びに行ってくるそうです。

タイガはめげずにマー君ママに甘えます。このあと一緒に短めの散歩をしました。
タイガはもう嬉しくて門の中へ入らんばかりにリードを引っ張ります。

夕方の散歩で城北公園へ出かけました（朝の6時過ぎにも来ていますが）。夕方といってもまだ４時前でしたが、カメラの都合で日陰はまるで夕闇のように暗くなりました。
この子は初めて会う男の子で、恐ろしく甘えん坊。
タイガが子犬の頃によく会った黒柴のラッキー君。最後に会ったのは何年前かも思い出せないくらいの久しぶりです。タイガが10歳なので、ラッキー君は14歳くらいのはずです。以前はとても大柄だったのが、まるで骨格が縮小したように普通の柴サイズになっていました。
Afternoon walk in the Johoku Central Park. Although it was before 4 o'clock, the photos look dark (I took my new tiny camera with me but I am not very familiar with it yet). We met a male black Shiba Inu, called Lucky, after many, many years. He seems to have shrunk in his old age (he must be about 14 years old).
これまた何年ぶりかの再会。タイガより１歳上のイチちゃん。タイガが赤ちゃんのとき、朝散歩の群れから勝手に脱走してしまったとき、車の下にうずくまっていたところをイチちゃんパパに見つけてもらったことは今も忘れません。子供の頃のタイガは、飽きるとプイっと群れから脱走するクセがありました。他の飼い主さんたちはその心理が理解できずに驚いていましたが、私も保育園から小学校低学年までは同じことをやっていたので、文句言えませんでした。
お互い覚えているようです。以前から挨拶は静かだった記憶。
Their greeting was always mild, and it was the same today.
Another familiar face - a female black Shiba, called Ichi, who is one year older than Taiga. When they were puppies, they used to play together every morning. In those days, Taiga had the habit of escaping in the middle of playing among the pack. On one such occasions, Ichi's dad managed to find Taiga crouched underneath a car - it scared me when I though of the worst possibility.

タイガは無視で私に近寄ろうとピョンピョンしていました。
He was not interested in meeting Taiga and, instead, kept trying to jump at me.
I wouldn't have minded, but his mom was trying to teach him manners, so I did not encourage him.
みんなと別れたあと、しばらく草の上でくつろぎました。最近は雨続きだったので、今日の快晴と暖かくて乾燥した空気が心地よかったです。
Recently, we had several days of cold rain and today's blue sky and warm air were so welcome. After we said good-bye to our friends, Taiga enjoyed a long rest on the dry grass.
