昨日の公園での写真を今頃UPしています。最近あっという間に１日が過ぎてしまいます。
公園に着くと暮に会った秋田犬のポン君が帰るところでした。他のワンコがツツジの枝に残した臭いを嗅いでいます。
On our arrival at the park, we saw 'Pon', the male Akita Inu that we met just before the year-end.
Like many Akitas, he is aloof towards strangers and even to Taiga.
少し歩いて会った初めて見る子。トイプードルの女の子で、名前は犬種からとって「トイトイ」だそうです。ヨーキー並みの小さい子です。
We walked on and met a new face: a tiny female Toy Poodle, named 'Toytoy' (named after her breed). She is as tiny as a Yorkie.
タイガは怖いけど、人が大好きだそうで私ににじり寄ろうとしています。
She is scared of Taiga but wants to come close to me, so she starts crawling towards me.
少しずつ近づいてきました。
Inch by inch, she came closer.
飼い主さんがタイガのこと怖くないよ、と教えたので、
Her mom assured her that Taiga was safe to approach.
恐る恐る臭い嗅ぎに近づいてきました。
She plucked her courage and managed to approach Taiga.
公園の上の広場を通ってドッグランに向かいます。冬の寒々した風景。
We walked through the field, heading for the dog park - very cold, wintry view.
ドッグランに降りていく坂道で、やはり暮に会った大型犬たちにばったり。細道をランから上がってきたところですが、大型犬４頭が横並びになると道が塞がるほどで、タイガが怯んで動かなくなりました。ゴールデンとレオンベルガーそれぞれ２頭ずつです。
When we came to the narrow path leading down to the dog park, we saw the large dogs we met the other day in the dog park - 2 Golden Retrievers and 2 Leonbergers. Faced with these large dogs who were blocking the path, Taiga almost froze.
レオンベルガーたちにはバーニーズのきょうだいもいるのですが、後ろから追い付いてきました。
The Leonbergers have a Bernese sister and she was catching up with them.
5頭横一列に並んだところを撮ろうとしたら、到着したばかりのバーニーズの女の子が私に挨拶に来たので列が乱れました。
I wanted to take all 5 of them sitting in a row but the Bernese wanted to say 'hello' to me first.
そうでなくても、動物の写真を撮るのは難しい！もう好き勝手にあちこち向いてしまうし、タイガのように本質的にカメラのシャッターを避ける子たちもよくいます。
It is impossible to take a good shot of several pooches at once - they have minds of their own.
