公園で At the park

 城北公園での散歩の帰りに茂呂山公園のモミジを見に行きました。去年の紅葉は見事だったのに、今年は色づく前に葉っぱの半分以上が落ちてしまっていたのであまり期待はできません。

We stopped at the Moroyama Park on our way home.

坂道を上る途中、タイガがネコの気配に興奮。

Taiga senses the presence of a cat.

後を追わないようにキツイ口調で制止しても、未練たっぷりの様子です。

As she was about to chase the cat, I shouted at her to stop.

上の広場まであと少し。

着きました。ほんとうに寂しい紅葉です。

帰ろうとしていたら、コムギちゃんが来ました。

As we were about to go home, Komugi, a female Shiba Inu arrived.

年上のタイガに甘えるように挨拶。

Komugi greets Taiga as a junior.

１歳台の幼いコムギちゃんですが、物怖じするところなく積極的にタイガに遊びを仕掛けています。

Komugi is less than 2 years old but does not hold back with 7-year old Taiga.

リードに繋がれているコムギちゃんのほうが有利に動いています。

Even though Komugi is on the leash, she is the stronger of the two.

延々と続いたワンプロの後は二人とも満足そうな顔でした。

They both looked very satisfied after a long doggie wrestling.

帰り道の途中、一般に開放されている屋敷林の横を通りました。

On our way home, we passed by the privately owned land open to the public.

日当たりの良い枝先から徐々に紅葉が進んでいます。グラデーションが何とも綺麗です。

The tips of branches are starting to turn red, as they get more sunlight.  The gradation is very pretty.
