今朝は久しぶりに朝から快晴でも未だ暑くはなく、気持ち良く散歩ができました。城北公園の手前にある、元野菜畑で、今は一般に開放されている草地へ行きました。古くからの農家の土地だったので、あまり見ない樹木があります。これは野生の桑の木。
For the first time in several days, we started the day with a blue sky. Yet, it was cool enough for walking in the park. We went to the former farm field, now open to the public. Since this is an old place, I find trees that are not often seen in large cities nowadays. This↓ is a wild mulberry tree.
昔からある普通の桑の実よりも更に小さくて、長さ1cmもないような小粒の実がたくさん着いています。かろうじてコウゾの実よりも大きい程度。
This tree's berries are even smaller than the usual wild mulberries commonly found in Japan.
Paulownia tomentosa in full bloom. This tree is highly prized in Japan for making high-end furniture.
爽やかな風が吹いて、タイガはゴキゲンです。
センダンの花も今がピーク。

Taiga absolutely loving the pleasant morning breeze in the shade.
いつもの草風呂の開始。
When she is relaxed, she goes on to roll on the grass.
別の草地へ移動した後もあまりに心地よいので、すっかりくつろいで長居しました。
We moved to another field. It was so pleasant that we sat in the shade for a long time before heading home.
