今朝は急激な冷え込みで冬のような寒さでした。冷気のおかげで、公園入口の草地にあるハゼの木が赤く色づき始めています。
Yesterday was unseasonably warm but it got drastically cold during the night. The Japanese wax tree turned red overnight, it seems.
The zelkova trees are at last turning into orange colours.
いつもの林を散策。
We walked through the woods.
黄葉したイチョウの葉っぱが朝日を浴びて燃えるような黄色です。
The leaves of the ginkgo tree are glittering in the morning light as if they are on fire.
足元に小型犬の気配が。。。
As I was looking up, I sensed the presence of a small dog.
ポメのほうは怖いもの知らずで、タイガにも積極的に近づいてきました。
初めて会う、３歳のポメ、名前は「むい」君。とても懐こくて私の脚にしがみついて来ました。
A new face: 3-year old Pomeranian, named Mui. He was so friendly and hugged my leg,
and tried to hang on.
左の白いトイプードルの子は6歳の繁殖リタイア犬で、ペットショップで売られていたそうです。名前は「いる」。雌雄の別を聞き忘れてしまいましたが、6歳まで繁殖に使ったあと売るとは。
The white Toy Poodle on the left was recently released by a breeder and now lives as a beloved member of the family.
The Pomeranian is fearless and is curious to meet Taiga.
そのあと、久しぶりに白柴のハクとばったり。相変わらずズカズカと年上のタイガに挑戦してきます。
Later, we met Haku, a male White Shiba Inu, after a long absence. His owner has been keeping him away from other dogs and humans after an incident, and he has not learned from the experience.
ムッとするタイガ。飼い主さんに後ろへ引っ張られてストップ。
Taiga checks him.
ハクの様子からして何がいけないのか理解していないようですが、タイガの耳や姿勢は思いっきりイヤがっています。
Haku does not understand why Taiga is on alert.
自制心を働かせたタイガを後でほめてやりました。
When we were alone, I praised Taiga for having been patient.
