2021年最後の黄金のしずく Last of Golden Drops of 2021

 タイガは2年くらい前から、チッコタレになりました。寝ている間に漏れるようです。特に寒い季節はホットカーペットの上で暖かく眠っている間に、該当する箇所のあたりの筋肉が緩むようです。毎日のことではないのでしばらくはガマンするのですが、そのうち独特の臭いが気になります。

今朝は実際にその「水滴」を目の当たりにしました。ホットカーペットのカバーはアクリル100%なので毛先に浮いたままです。ガラス戸ごしに朝日を浴びてキラキラ光っていました。

During cold months, when Taiga sleeps on the warm electric carpet, she sometimes becomes incontinent.  I came down to the living room this morning to find these droplets on the electric carpet cover.

The fact she had moved away from those drops probably meant that she knew what had happened - as a dog, she must be aware of the distinct smell.

公園へ行く前に汚れたカバーを洗濯機に放り込んで、ホットカーペットの上に消臭剤をスプレーしておきました。これで気持ちよく正月を迎えられます。

I put the offending carpet cover into the washing machine before leaving for the park, and sprayed the electric carpet with deodorant.   Now we can greet the New Year with fresh smelling carpet cover.
