公園で At the park

午後３時過ぎに一旦雨が止んだので、たっぷり1時間半をかけて早めの夕方散歩に出ました。まずは柿の木広場へ行くと、甘百目の実が少しだけ色づいていました。

 今年は裏年のようで去年ほどには生っていません。

柿の写真を撮っていたら、近くに住むミニピンのピン君、12歳、がやって来ました。

 公園の入り口近くの家に今ヒート中の女の子がいるそうで、未去勢のピン君は他の一切のことに無関心。

Pin, an intact male, is fixated on a female in heat,

who lives in the house close to the entrance of the park.

 He is utterly oblivious of anything else.

 ピン君の飼い主さんと私が長々とおしゃべりをしていても全く退屈しないほど、姿の見えない女の子に精神を集中したままです。一方、タイガは退屈のあまり地面をホリホリ。私が何度叱っても、抗議のホリホリ。

Pin's mom and I enjoyed a long chat, but he continues to stare at the house in question.

Taiga, on her part, was bored and kept digging the ground in protest.

しょうがないので城北中央公園へ移動。

We moved to another park.

 築山の上でポーズを取らせました。

 帰ろうとしたら、全身で踏ん張って動こうとしない。自分が私に何等かの役務を提供したという意識のあるときは、こうやってご褒美のオヤツを要求するようになりました。

 下へ降りてハイ、おやつ。

そこへ、ラブラドゥードルのマリオ君がやって来ました。マリオ君はタイガより１月先に生まれたので６歳ですが、お互い子犬のときからの大の仲良し。

 一通りワシャワシャしたあとは

they have been good friends since they were puppies.

 マリオ君は私に撫でてほしくてソワソワして、とても可愛い。
